He says, it is important for the businesses to eliminate ambiguity with regards to social media
startegies. This would mean clear definition and communication of goals to the staff who would implement it. Before executing, the goals, strategy and tactics for social media should be documented as a part of the policy. He also suggests clearly defining the do’s and dont’s as this could save you a lot of effort and cost.

Mikal stresses on the correct assignment and allocation of the social media roles among employees. Finally, he advises businesses to take assistance of legal counsel, before going ahead with the implementation of possibly sticky points of the policy.
