Amazon has outdone itself by launching the new Kindle eBook reader named Kindle Paperwhite. This new model is much easier on the eyes than the previous Kindle edition. It has won glowing reviews from Wired.com for its new screen and applications. The light-up screen on this model is far better than the one seen on its competitor – the Barnes & Noble Nook eBook reader.
This might be hard to believe, but according to recent reports published by Experian – the number of people using search engines is declining. Astonishingly, the trend seen in recent months is the first time that search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo!, etc. have not reported phenomenal growth in their user bases.
Billions of people worldwide use Google search daily. In the years after Google was created, it has managed to monopolize the search engine market. Google has used its popularity as a search engine to leverage other Google products and this does not sit well with other software companies and travel websites. Companies like Microsoft, TripAdvisor and Expedia must now bow down to the rules set by Google to ensure that their websites get top billing in web searches. Google’s supposed victims are now filing complaints with regulators even though they have stated that Google’s ranking algorithms do not affect their revenues.
